For Yoors' sake!
Recently I have already risked an item on this...
The pop-up and the pageviews, or rather, the absence of that.
I would like to get a response from the Yoors team so I'll tag a few people here: @Henkjan the Warrior @Babita the Farmer @sanderr @Lars Greys Who exactly is about this, I don't know. Good that the SEO is being looked at but I don't think this is the problem (anymore). About 800 items I have at Yoors and yet at least 400-500 that are really worth it, judging by reactions from inside and outside Yoors. Of all those items there are only three that score above 1000 views and a total of 118 that are above 100. About 680 items are between 10-100 views. Many of these blogs have been on it for years, I have been at Yoors for 2.5 years. The blogs are viewed on Yoors, a few times out there and otherwise they are 'dead'.
Of course meant as constructive criticism the following: When family and friends may or may not give their opinion on my blogs at Yoors, I often hear things like: “Yes, but that's very special... If I click on that link... Here, take a look... Oh, no, not now... Yes, well, look...” Then I say, “Yes, that's the pop-up, you can just click it away.” Then the almost standard response follows: “How (or) Where then?” Then I do that for. “Oh, yes”. One clicks further... “Here, now it comes again!”
Of course I will continue the conversation and then it turns out that people are absolutely not served by this and then click everything away. Not to mention wanting to become a member. Sin! I regularly share my blogs and blogs on my own website, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Regularly but I absolutely do not spam. When people read a poem or the like, one would normally click through to other poems etc. But that pop-up...
Brainstorming
I think it was said once that the pop-up would only show up when reading the third item, but it's already there right away. Of course I understand that Yoors also wants to recruit members of course.
Zet in je pop-up dat aanmelden maar ook weer afmelden een fluitje van een cent is, en zet er duidelijk in waar het kruisje zit.
