The tree was here first

Our neighbours have the most beautiful throne tree I have ever seen.
The photos don't really show just how large it is, but I would say you probably need at least 4 adults holding hands around it to make up just the size of the trunk.

This tree is also pushing our wall a bit skew and its cracking a little, some people tell us we should ask them to cut down the tree and pay to fix our wall. We will absolutely not do that.

The tree was here long before these houses were even built. It is home to so many birds, to the squirrels that come and visit us.

Our solution has been to grow ivy to hide the cracks on the wall and if need be, we will one day redo the wall even if it means pushing our boundary wall away from them.

It is such a beauty, it provides so much shade and in the spring it fills up with thousands of tiny yellow buds, (which give me hayfever ☺️) making the tree even more beautiful.

While it is their tree, it feels like it belongs to both families because we all benefit from it.

People always wants to cut everything what is inconveniënt. But if the tree is gone, they know what they miss...

ik vind bomen over het algemeen wel heel mooi maar deze is super zeg. En ik zie die kleine gele vogeltjes al zitten of liever gezegd ik hoor ze.hihi
