Holy basil
Holy basil (tulsi) is a native basil of southeast asia. It is used for medicinal purposes but in our hindu culture,it is also worshipped as a sacred plant.
The holy basil should be planted in front of house with its own flowerpot structured like a temple as shown in photographs. The holy basil cannot be planted at any day. There is a specific day once a year to mark as holy basil plantation day.
