I built a cabin, but now it's for everyone.
Today I came across this cabin in the woods during a beautiful walk. It's a beautiful hut and I stood in front of it and wanted spontaneously back to the time when my children were towing branches to build a cabin. It was always very nice to see how they worked together, could command each other and consult each other when they encountered a little problem. And when it was finished, they were always so proud of each other and of themselves. Sometimes I helped but I always liked to keep myself a little bit off so I could enjoy the sight of my offspring. I enjoyed being outside, the autumn with its beautiful colors and the delicious scents in the forest. Today no children but so this cabin that brought me back to not so long ago and I enjoyed again. I imagined that parents with children had been engaged in carrying branches and trunks with blushes on the cheeks. They must have been so proud of themselves and each other.
And maybe they were a little sad when they had to leave the cabin just like my children were, their own built house. And I hope they thought, like my children, “I built a hut but now it's for everyone”. They found that idea pretty cool. I thought it was so sweet when my uk said it in a slightly imprinted voice. Because that's just the way it is, now it's for everyone.
This is my 8th black/white contribution for the 10day black and white “challenge”.
Je kids denken er zeker ook graag aan terug! Heb je je ervaring van vandaag met hen gedeeld?
Speciaal effect in zwart/wit en leuk gedichtje erbij!
