Recently, I have wondered several times if I couldn't change my name better here.
My name is Encaustichris, because of my love for Encaustic art, but I haven't touched the beeswax for ages.
There are all kinds of causes for this, and they have to do with energy in particular.
I have to be in a certain energy to be able to do something with the beeswax, and (especially) covid got me out of that energy.
That had to change!

And yesterday, I suddenly noticed the need to conjure up the beeswax.
I wanted to make use of that immediately, and I did.
Not that I was flooded with inspiration, but the beginning is here again.
I decided to focus on lines and shapes.
I enjoyed it again, and the results are not bad, I think.

Encaustichris is on his way back, so I keep my name!
