So almost a year ago, lockdown happened in South Africa. With the sudden free time on my hands, I finally had time to explore my interest in gardening and it has been a learning curve and a rewarding experience to see the things that I have planted grow.

So I really do like the idea of #marchmoves

It just so happens that I planted some tomato seeds this morning. A friend gave me a tomato plant which carries yellow cocktail tomatoes. This amateur was super excited and ate all 4 yellow tomatoes as soon as they were ready, another 4 lay on the ground destroyed by wind and I guess birds and so I decided to take the seeds out and plant them. Let's see what happens.

The other plant that I want to watch is the strawberry plant. This plant I found almost dead, the leaves had turned brown and I wasn't sure it could be saved. I placed it in an area in my home that had almost like a greenhouse type of effect because of the roof in that area and the light. Now I see my efforts are being rewarded with these 4 hopeful strawberries.

This is the blog by @missmuhimu to explain March Moves.
