I also have a bit of passion with nature, which is why my subjects of my paintings are often people, animals or plants. Here a frog on a stem, painted with acrylic paint on paper.
By mixing the paint not on your pallet, but on your painting, you get much more structure in your painting. Nothing in nature is even 1 color. As you can see with this stem, the veins really run in the direction of the length of the stem. If I had mixed all the paint on my pallet to a light brown, it would have been very unnatural.
