Exactly like @Ingrid Tips en meer , rest place for me are not trees with houses. are the banks near by the trees. and we have also tables with chairs around, where people (usually retired people), spend some time playing cards. but that idea of the resting trees is interesting.
I wouldn't know how to answer your question. I always loved trees, their colours, the sound of their leaves in the wind. In them I recognize beauty, shelter, shadow, rest and a moment of introspection for everyone :)
Hope you don't mind, but I'm wondering if the stones don't sufficate the trees... but then I think of the pavements here in The Netherlands, where roots of trees also are under them. (Which I also don't like, to be honest.)
