My garden is still full of cobwebs.
It's something typical of autumn.
The cross spiders are often busy with the weaving of a new web.
The video below I recorded last week.
This clearly shows how the spider weaves its wheel web.
At first, the image is sometimes a bit blurred. It was recorded with a smartphone and it had some difficulty focusing against a background of plants.
The spinning comes out of her body and with the help of her legs she attaches the spider rag in the shape of a wheel.
In the middle she had left a big spider rag.
After a while, she came to pick it up, stuffed it in and then moved on to work.
