This week my first Too Good To Go box picked up at Lidl. In the past I already ordered from Jumbo, Hema and the local bakery. Jumbo doesn't do it here anymore, but Lidl has just started with it and what I understand is further expanded nationally. So it may well be that your Lidl isn't offering it yet.

The box costs €2,99 and is therefore a lot cheaper in my opinion. Both Jumbo, Hema and my local baker asked €4,99. However, the total value was a lot higher, around €15.00. With Lidl, that's 8.99.

The Lidl box is really a fruit and vegetable box. I do see the advantage of that if you use little or no meat and dairy for some reason.
I found my box nicely filled and I suspect that there is more value in it than the €8,99 mentioned in the app.

What was in it:
• Fresh package spicy couscous
Only the paprika has a slightly wrinkled skin
• Iceberg salad
Looks good
• White Mushrooms
Look good
• Grapes
Sitting a few bad in between, so immediately taken off.
• Bio lemon
Fine and can be used for a few more days.
• Tomatoes
Excellent quality
• Green beans
Equal cut and washed and put in the freezer. Sit on a couple of brown spots and put them away. About the
In general, I found them still look good.
• Peaches
Had a couple of fair spots, so we'll just cut them off. Furthermore, it looked neat.
• Forest sui
Fine, nothing to note
• Cauliflower
Only the leaf is a little yellow, so also that's fine

However, I do believe that you should not leave this kind of package for too long. Also not in the fridge, so I processed the vegetable the same afternoon and put it in the freezer. I check fruit every day and if it turns out that the peaches are too much, because I have some other fruit lying, then I clean it and put it in the blender. I could make fruit ice creams out of it.

The only drawback is that you have to pick it up at the checkout or service desk. My experience at the Jumbo was better, because you picked this up at the store. I could see what was inside and adjust the rest of my messages to that.

The box in which it is of course looks very nice, but is difficult to take with you when you walk like me, but also on the bike is not always easy.

Everywhere I am not dissatisfied with this box and I think I would like to try it again in the future. For the money, you don't have to leave it.

Have you ever tried a Too Good To Go box (from the Lidl)?
What do you think?
