I usually ignore the pop-ups and choose the pool at publication.
If I want to save a draft I turn the participation days to zero.
Then, when I want to publish, I enter the pool.
So no problems on this side of the screen 🙂

To be honest, although I don't have problems with it that Yoors automatically chooses a pool, I can imagine this gets things a bit more complicated. I don't know if it's possible to only show a suggestion, instead of filling it in, already, @Babita de Boer? Possibly (new) members who don't know how things work on Yoors yet, pay without noticing / deciding for themselves whether or not they want to participate in any pool with a post they created.
@Ingrid Tips en meer I agree that the new system can be a bit confusing if you don't know how to navigate Yoors very well. In fact, I was just talking to someone on here who did think that it was mandatory now to participate in pools with every post (I think due to not seeing how to opt out). In my case, I'm just not shown any pop ups, so the system is a bit like before, except that now there is a pool pre-selected for me when I get to the "Publish" page.
On my side it chooses a hashtag randomly and then gives me a pop up to undo, unfortunately the pop up doesn't last long. I have had to delete a post as it was in the wrong 'pool' so that I could then have it in the pool that I actually wanted.
I should also had that I often use my phone, so it may also be the reason why I don't always pick up on it until it has been published.
Het enige dat mij niet bevalt is dat je automatisch al betaalt wanneer je je post opslaat. Om hem later te publiceren moet je dan nog een keer betalen.
@casapapusilor As I understand it, you can disable that. When you are on the "Publish" page before you save your draft, click on the "pool" box to activate the menu. There, where it talks about the number of days of participation simply slide the bar to zero (or type in that number) and it will not charge you anything. You can also delete the name of the pool, I think, but sliding the number of days to zero will surely work (that is what I do). Take a look at @Encaustichris's reply to Teresa Seia under this post, there is an image there to show how it's done.
@Adriana Dat weet ik intussen ook, maar ik moet er nog steeds erg op letten wanneer ik bijvoorbeeld onverwachts weggeroepen wordt en snel op wil slaan.
@ElisabethsKitchen 👩🍳 That's the best attitude 🙂 I think for some people the problem is that they don't want to participate in any pool but haven't figured out how to opt out of it.
@Adriana Do you think that there are some people who wanted to participate? Why, just choose your one pool and let al the games en challenges go. Go your own way - one of my favorite song also. 😉🙃 I'm quit different.
@Nathaniël For a future post, on the "Publish" page click on the "Pool" box and delete the name of the pool or set the number of days to zero. This should help 🙂
Speaking for myself, another very clear and helpful post! I overlooked the possibility of chosing 0 days to step out of a pool. I'll try it next time. I overlooked the possibility of chosing 0 days to step out of a pool. I'll try it next time. So far, with this new modality I lost some points, because the pop up didn't stay for long and "forced"me (a way of explaining my difficulties, of course) to enter in a pool and stay there. Your explanation will also help me having a draft waiting without it immediately start counting the day of participation in the pool. I hope I was clear about my experience...and remaining difficulties up to now.
@Teresa Seia before publishing you can click on the jar, then you'll find the pop-up like on the photo. You can slide to left, to stop your entrance in the pool.
