Yoors and advertisements.
For years I've considered ads to be the enemy. And I'm still not over that!
We only notice that cashing in content is very difficult for the creator. That is why we are looking for alternatives.
An advertising experiment is currently underway so that we can distribute this revenue among our members.
This is an investigation.
You can turn it off if you have a subscription.
Only non members see it now. Once they join, they won't see it anymore.
We want to distribute the proceeds in proportion to what your posts generate. I'll keep you posted on the status of this.

I try to create content that visitors come to from outside, if they enter via a posted link, they simply drop out. They drop out because there is too much advertising between the headings H2, H3 and H4. The more cups, the more advertising 😞
No, for an author, this is not okay because our work disappears into thin air. Of course, I do understand that money has to come in to keep everything running, but you'd better place the Adsense in a sidebar so that the content remains free of advertising. Advertising can also be better related to the content of the article.
Adsense is not the right way to make money on a site like this. The golden times are long gone. There are better parties that a site like this can appeal to earn an income. From a proven number of visitors, one can make a proposal to those parties and conclude an agreement.
Adsense is even an uncertain source of income, just imagine someone here starts clicking and clicking on the advertising, then you soon fly out of the system and bye bye Adsense.
Have ever written an article about this revenue model, pros and cons https://www.leerwiki.nl/financieel/inkomen/salaris/residueel-inkomen/adsense/44875/adsense-de-voordelen-en-nadelen/
And now just hope it's actually Adsense 😁
