Outside it's drizzly, we just had our first winter storm, the days are short...
Time to pick up the flower parade, with a sunny flower!
Today in the flower parade: the Sunhat, or Rudbeckia Hirta!

The Rudbeckia Hirta is an annual plant, which remains regularly.
My parents regularly call them American sunflower, because they got acquainted with it years ago when my brothers had been to America and brought seeds.
After that, the plant never disappeared from my parents' garden.
The name is also appropriate because it originates from all over America.

You can sow the Rubeckia Hirta in April-May and then plant it in the garden.
Already in July to October, the plant then gives many sunflower flowers, which can have various shades of color.
There's always yellow in the flower, and they always have a dark heart.
Rudbeckia Hirta blooms for a long time, and is suitable as a cut flower.

So it is a grateful plant, which has the only requirement that it be in full sun.
That's what the name is after: sunhat.
The seeds are just for sale in the flower shop where they sell seed.
With a little luck, this annual flower will remain for years, or sow itself out.
Highly recommended for your garden!
