A glimpse into my little paradise - part 7: autumn
Autumn... not immediately my favorite season, but still ranked for the winter.
There is still colour, although most colors announce the darkest, coldest season.
You will find the most beautiful autumn colors at our witch hazel. It blooms in winter with fiery red flowers and in autumn it is the first to discolour its leaves. The wind of the past few weeks has already taken a lot of it.
They discolor from the edges of fire red, over burgundy, while the heart of the leaf remains green for a long time. Very beautiful in autumn decorations!
Yet there are still a few stubborn summer bloomers remarkably present. The diligent groin in the large planters have done their best this year. Although these are normally low blooms, they are a meter high this year, with still a sea of flowers. You can't even find the planters anymore.
