And then there is the ANWB

#foto It started in the blizzard in France. The right window wiper broke and flew off. Fetsie. Fortunately, the left has a wide range and I could drive on. Then just across the border slightly in front of Breda a light starts on the dashboard and at the same time the engine power drops out. I can just put Sprintertje on the side of the Ulvenhout exit. The engine turns off and is no longer able to talk. It's a dangerous place, and then you get towed to the ANWB garage first. The big WW car will be there in ten minutes and there goes sprinter then, he can go with his big Mercedes brother. Felled after 2200 km. Arriving at the ANWB garage we are kindly taken care of with a cup of coffee and while we are at ease a skilled employee gets to work. Now it looks like it used to be with my dog, he was wrong and when I walked in to the vet it was over again. Now at Sprintertje too, nothing more going on.

Just being able to drive home again only after a while that one windshield wiper only half did it and I had to look through underneath it. Come home in one piece.

Today at Mercedes Sprintertje, something with a sensor that probably responded to the “cheap” diesel I had refueled in France.

Vervelend als de motor uitvalt en dan zo plots op de weg...gelukkig kreeg je hem nog op tijd aan de kant en doet Sprintertje het weer!!!

Gelukkig kan je erom lachen en ben je goed thuisgekomen, maar het zijn geen leuke dingen en gelukkig was je dicht bij huis. Nu weer genieten van het mooie Nederland wel even wennen met dit weer, maar ook hier zal het eens voorjaar worden.
