chocolate panna cotta recipe
For me, this year is the year of dessert. This is number three in a short time. I would almost say it shouldn't be crazier. Yesterday another variant of this very easy dessert. Namely chocolate panna cotta. With real cocoa powder. No quick-chocolate milk powder. No, real cocoa. It's still for sale. Make chocolate milk with cocoa powder. Bet you never buy that instant again.
You could also make this panna cotta with chocolate milk. But then really miss the cooked cream flavor that is so characteristic of panna cotta. Panna cotta is Italian for cooked cream.
By the way: I bought the cocoa powder in the Lidl during the Belgian week. The cherries I used come from a jar. Also bought in the Lidl during the Italian week. That's a quilty pleasure of mine. Those cherries are delicious in cakes, ice cream or dessert.
Vegetarian or vegan
When you do not use meat or related products. Can you replace the gelatin for agar-agar? Agar-agar is a binder extracted from seaweed. Look for the quantity and how to use it on the packaging. It can vary, you have flakes or powdered agar agar. You can replace the whipped cream for a vegetable variant.
