To this further stated: #fotografie

Most of the images of me are listed: #ImagesByEnrique .

You may have seen that before. Why did I choose that name?

It could have been in Dutch, right? Among other things, the following thoughts are behind this:

“Images of Enrique” could have been or “Photos of Enrique”. But most of all I care about is that one word, “Images”. A picture, I imagine you're aiming your camera at something you want to capture. Then press the button. This is the simplest explanation, I understand. But an image is already more. This can be a photo, whether edited or not, but also, for example, a charcoal drawing or a watercolor. And now I come back to the word “Image.” There's the beautiful word “Imagine.” 'Image' literally means 'Performance'. And 'Imagine' means freely translated; “Think...“, “Imagine that...” or “Imagine...” “Imagination “means “fantasy.” Here it is getting a bit more abstract. It is no longer about “Truth”, although in the context of photography this is very subjective, but about a fantasy or dreamimage/dream world, a creation if you like. And that's what I strive for. Depending on the content of the blog, it is no longer about capturing something, but rather to show something. That's a big difference. Transferring something, I want to. Show me something as I have in mind and want to share it with you.

When I see my first pictures on Yoors, I sometimes think, “That I dared to put my name under that...“, at the time: '© Enrique, blogs and more' or abbreviated: '© E, b&m. ' Of course, those copyrights are also in force, just for your information. A real eye-opener was my” Bloody-Mary photo “. (click on the blue text to see) Then I Googled for pictures of Bloody Mary's to see if I was in between. An embarrassing moment. Beautiful exotic images came by and not my picture with the ingredients for the drink, as if it were soldiers in a row. Then I knew; people want a fairy tale, an illusion, the eye also wants some,...

Some photos that I am quite proud of, whether or not used in my blogs:

My aunt's beautiful French geraniums... (except for copyrights this photo is not reworked)

Among other things, a rose and a gerbera from the bouquet I gave my mother with Mother's Day...

The lisses from my garden...

Summer includes barbecuing, of course...

Edit photos:

“Early “I always thought, “A picture is good or bad. Editing is amateurish. I came back from that. It is very nice that you can, for example, set the horizon straight of a beautiful picture. You don't substantially change the picture with that. But then I started playing with the function “I'm feeling lucky”. That gave a stunning result every time! This often improves the contrast or exposure. It's like taking a layer of haze off your picture. And I also discovered that with cropping or cropping (harvesting) you could get the best part out of a picture or remove that annoying garbage can on the side. Furthermore, you can play with lighting manually or pick up colors. You do change your photo, but you already do that when you start working on the camera with your shutter speed, aperture, iso, white balance or flash. Again, reality is subjective. When I look at an object with one eye closed and then with the other, I also see some color difference. And do you have daylight, fluorescent light, LED light,..? Everything is affecting. Look, a bad picture never turns into a good one, but you can make a good one even better one.
