Hello all,
There was a moment of sitting down at the piano and I took silence for myself. I let go of my thoughts, feelings from my body and wanted to express it through piano playing. Nothing was fixed. I did not know what was going to happen. Just feelings touching the keys. I finished my improvisation and gave it the name Mood. When I listened back to the improvisation, I felt one word and that was Mood for me.This is one of the things I want to do more often. It is not only beautiful and nice to do, but I think it is also good for my development in piano.
I often take these moments of silence, also in nature or in my room. It inspires me enormously and gives me a safe and pleasant feeling. At that moment I embrace my soul, my inner being, as it were. And from that I draw new energy. A kind of meditation. And then you don't have to do anything, you can.
