It was a beautiful (summer) day, Peter. Never written about it so I thought I'd send you a letter to this one.

To let you know that I've found it very nice. Your hospitality, presence and that of your comrade, of course. Had fun conversations, while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. Those are the things that make life worth living.

You have your things, me mine and nice to listen to stories of each other, even in a beautiful setting. It doesn't always come from it, due to illness, (lack of) time or whatever. But all the more valuable is such a day. So, as far as I'm concerned, we'll do that again, no matter where. Meeting new people is always worth it. A different company, a different sound, different views or recognition. Some encounters are one-time, that is possible, and that is not a matter. But that is certainly not the case here!

I don't walk down the door with anyone. I never did. But I'm definitely not a hermit either. We all have our things that limit your life and your outings and aren't as obvious as they might seem. That is not personal either. But I run into myself if I don't pay attention. Something you probably recognize yourself. Still quite apart; if you look at what kind of cross your fellow man has to wear, you never want to trade. But at the same time you feel your own pain most. But not on that day... It was fun, it was nice, it was good. And that day with you and you, I cherish as a precious memory.

Goodbye, Peter!
