Montmartre Paris
As most people know, there has recently been a fire in Notre-Dame in Paris. But the last time I devoted a blog to a piece of Paris, it was about 'Lady-Di' and the Ritz Hotel .It's a tragic story. Not knowing that there would be a fire a little later in the world-famous cathedral, I promised to come up with a happier blog next time, about the Beautiful City I have closed in my heart. So that's what I do with this one.And about my favorite district of Montmartre...
In 2006 we (my mother, Friend and I) were in the Mercure hotel in the Montmartre district.Near the Moulin Rouge and also the Kunstenaarsplein, which was also really full of artists.Undoubtedly, they wanted to make a drawing or caricature of you at a large amount. One of those people spoke to me and put his pencil right on paper.“No, no,” I said in my best French.Who knows what that might cost? Well, you are NL-er or you are not, of course, although we had previously counted 18 Euro for 2 glasses of Coke. That was in the vicinity of Notre-Dame.Well, terrace service costs extra.Learned an expensive lesson.Anyway, I'm straying.

The Sacré-Coeur was certainly as impressive and impressive as the aforementioned, now battered cathedral.I don't remember details after so much time but even though we were half in the analog era back then, I still have a nice picture of it.(pictured below) The pictures we received on request and corresponding payment also on CD.

Of course we have also been at the Moulin Rouge but not inside! Haha, as the name suggests this is for a different target group as far as I'm concerned.I was also addressed a little further away, in French of course but it was clear that they were looking for customers in that area...All right, I made a poem about that:
