This nice frog I painted with Acrylic, with thick paper with relief. The beauty of Acrylic is that you can paint so nicely layer over layer.

It's good to sketch first, to determine your composition. Then it is best to paint the background with paint first and then work towards the forges.

Here, the white accents give a lot of extra power to the painting!
