From sweet potato and old cheese I made these delicious rösti bites. These are actually quite large. I prepared them in the frying pan and then kept warm in the oven. That went fine.
You give this to your kids, they eat extra vegetables unnoticed. Sweet potato is a vegetable namely.
You can make them well in advance. Allow to cool and freeze.
If you're going to gourmett with the family, you can fasten them. Freeze and before you go gourmett, let it thaw. In the pan still warm up and you have a nice snack. Maybe add some tomato ketchup to dip. What you like.
These bites are good with rucola salad, some Serrano ham and you have a quick appetizer.

enigma Ja zou kunnen. Zorg dan wel dat je een proef rösti heb voor de gaarheid. Je zou ook metalen vormen kunnen gebruiken. Hartvormige of rond, of met de kerst in stervorm. Zo blijft het geheel in vorm.

Schorelaar Ook erg lekker. Zeker voor kinderen, maar volwassenen vinden het ook lekker. Ik heb courgette als pannenkoek verwerkt. Niet met aardappel. Was ook heerlijk.
Als het lekker hartig wordt vind ik zoete aardappel wel lekker.
