Tiramisu at high level... #dessert
How to take an everyday dessert to the next level?
With these tips and tricks from the restaurant kitchen you will succeed.
In this blog I will explain it to you step by step using clear photos and instructions...
Some handy helpers used in the professional kitchen...
A grater
A flat spatula
A rubber tassel
Piping Bags
For this festive dessert you need a piping bag (disposable or reusable, you can choose that but also think about the environment) and some nice festive glasses
Supplies:
1 x mascarpone mixture (depending on the number of desserts you want to make)...
The recipe for about 4 people can be found here... SCRIP (opens in a new window)
Long fingers (or your beloved cookies)
A large cup of strong coffee
Optionally Amaretto or Baileys
Instant coffee (granules)
Cocoa powder
Cookies (for finishing)
Chocolates or chocolates (also for finishing)
Here we go...
Make the mascarpone mixture as indicated in the recipe...
Then add a teaspoon of instant coffee to it, this gives a very tasty taste to your mixture, just mix the grains through it.
Then transfer the whole into a piping bag and put it away in a cool place or in the fridge.
Crumble the long fingers into not too large pieces and put the cup of strong coffee at your fingertips.
Sprinkle a little crumbled biscuits on the bottom of the glass...
Pour them with a little coffee that you may or may not have mixed with a little liqueur, this can be done with a spoon or a small jug...
Cut the tip of the piping bag and spray a nice tuff of mascarpone cream in the glass, on top of the biscuits...
Repeat these steps so first cookies...
Then coffee...
Then back mascarpone cream...

Continue stacking layers until you are almost at the top of the glass but always end with mascarpone cream...
On it you put a nice biscuit...
Finish this with a little bit of cocoa powder, gently and from quite high sprinkle, gives the best result...
Finally, there is a praline on top so that the whole looks festive...

This dessert can be made one day in advance but make sure that you finish the finish on the day you are going to serve it, preferably just before serving
Covered and without finishing, you can store this dessert in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, longer is not recommended.
The final result...

With a glass in a different shape or a nice jar you get a completely different dessert.

To finish using another biscuit or a piece of fruit gives a completely different dessert. Or what about speculoos between the layers of cream?
