Yoorsnovember #1: can you guess the fruit?
And the answer is... find out here!

CAN YOU GUESS THE FRUIT?
Even without the editing, it is a funny looking fruit. The first time I saw it, I was immediately curious about its unusual peel, under which hides a smooth, sweet flesh.
I thought I'd have a bit of fun with the first day of the #yoorsnovember challenge and, instead of just posting a regular photo of a #fruit, also include a small riddle for you to guess.
Nevertheless, I am quite pleased with how this simple photo edit in #gimp turned out, making the fruit look like something halfway out of a tree and the bottom of the ocean.
Check back tomorrow for a non-edited photo and the name of the fruit.

Nice picture! I don't recognized the sort of fruit in here. I'm curious to know! 😃

@Madeleine Thank you! Tomorrow I will edit the post to include the big reveal 😁

It looks like some kind of weed. A wild guess for me: jackfruit. Waiting for unedited photo.

@Just read(en) Jackfruit is SO delicious! Thank you for trying to guess, but no, it is not jackfruit 😁

In every fruit lies a hidden secret of beauty, waiting to be revealed! Loved the photo with an invitation, here's a wild and generic guess: a wild fruit 😁

@Adriana It looks like something seen under a microscope, I see a hand and a tablecloth that is a fig without the peel? It is an enigmatic photo, congratulations for the originality

@w.festuccia Thank you so much! The hand is mine and the background is actually the floor. Not a fig, though 😁

Could be lychee, or rambutan (hairy fruit) as we call it here in Bali.

@Dewaputra By the way, lichee and rambutan are actually different fruits, though closely related, as they belong to the same family (Sapindaceae) 🙂
