How's it going? #verhaal in the mine further? Read for this

Foot by foot I shuffle through the underground mine corridor. It's so dark that I don't see a hand in front of my eyes, but there's no question of light buttons here anymore. Every now and then I activate my mobile to make sure that I don't burst into one of the walls or disappear into a faintless deep shaft. I haven't been using the flashlight on my mobile for a while, that thing eats power, and I'm way too afraid that I'm going to sit completely in the dark way too early. Regret of my trip? Absolutely. I wish I had never found those bad bottles with the whiskey and taken away. A life as a teetotaler wouldn't have been so crazy.

After quite a few awkward and dark meters and minutes, I start to lose all sense of time and space and slowly but surely I start to worry more than just a little bit. Actually, a lot more than a little bit. If I don't find a way out, or something to eat or drink, I have a problem. I imagine how in a few hundred years some researcher will find some meager remains of what I hope was a promising storywriter. I shake my head, this kind of thoughts does not help me. I activate my phone again and suddenly I see a strange object lying against the wall of the cave. Something to eat or drink, maybe? If necessary, a bottle of whiskey (the thought escapes me). Hopefully I come closer and soon see that I made a mistake, it's a helmet. The specimen is clearly intended for work in the mine, there is even a light on it. To my surprise the light is still giving light, which is nice because then I can save my mobile. There's a note at the helmet that says in block letters: congratulations from Chantal.

I laugh and mumble 'thank you, Chantal', put on the helmet and slide a little less doubtful thanks to the helmet light. I am only a little further when I am startled by a strong rumbling sound. There are stones falling out of the walls and ceiling around me. One even falls on my head (well, on the helmet of course) and I have an extra reason to be very grateful to Chantal. Then another falls. It's a heavier specimen that, despite the helmet, knocked me out.

When I wake up again it's dark again, it's so dark that I don't see a hand in front of my eyes. On the touch I look for the light button on the helmet. Fortunately, it still works and the button on the helmet provides new light. The stone has caused a strong headache and I'm a bit dizzy. I also have a big whining hum in my ears. I even imagine hearing voices very far away. I stand stiff and strain my ears to the limit, but it is not easy to hear something clear above my inner broomtone.
