My impressive assignment.
January 2019, I sat at home on the couch, a day or two before I first go to Iceland so, I remember the moment as yesterday's day. My phone gave a vibration: a messenger message had come in. A message from Miranda. She had just responded to Yoors on one of my posts, saying she wanted to make an order. That was, of course, fine, and immediately arranged.
Then we got to talk, and she told me she was very sick, and she was preparing her end of life. Her question was clear: was I willing to make a work for her grave?
Swallow...
I had not had such a big question before, and I felt a lump in my throat. For a long time I did not have to think about it, because if someone asks me such a question, the answer is clear: I definitely want to try it for you!
We talked about the (un-) possibilities and that we would both look for what was technically possible, of course within the wishes of her.
