Wild hyacinths and blue forest hyacinths (hyacinthoides non scripta blue) bloom around mid-April.
The wild hyacinth has a sagging stem and the flowers hang to one side,
the Spanish hyacinth has a sturdy stem and is more upright.
The cultivated species easily intersect with other varieties, and with the English Bluebells so that there are all kinds of varieties in the Netherlands.
(Also, they are mistakenly called Bluebells)
They are found in gardens, parks, parks and roadside roads.
Around estates would be the real Bluebells.
They preferably stand on slightly shaded spots.

Bluebells are rare outside England,
To protect this species, the other species are banned in England.
The Bluebells are mined in the English forests and are certified.
