Hello all!
The Yoors Music Challenge has started and what a cool intiative of Yoors it is. Musicians are given the opportunity to develop themselves further, to get the best out of themselves, to learn to cross the threshold, to push their boundaries and above all to have a lot of fun during this musical journey. I am glad that I am taking part in this challenge and that I dare to cross that threshold, just as myself as Madeleine, as an amateur pianist who actually recorded a song on video once since Yoors had a different challenge a while ago, and that tasted like more. And I dared, despite the fact that I had a lump of nerves in my little body every time, but I also know that I am an enormous go-getter and am so eager to learn and discover my abilities that I just threw myself in at the deep end anyway, with all my rough edges, my vulnerability, but I don't care anymore. I see this as an opportunity, an opportunity that Yoors gives you to develop yourself as a human being in the talents that you have. There is so much beauty to learn. Why not do it? No option to think about it, just do it! So I took the leap into the deep end. Enjoy and watch my journey through this challenge and thank you for always watching and supporting my music videos. It does me so much good.
Oh yeah I almost forgot to tell you what this video is about haha.
So I posted the song Don't answer me on video this week where I just played it basic, like it says. Only this time I gave it my own twist.
So I made the intro myself, the part between the first and second verse, some runs in between in the melody and the end with a repetition of the first sentence of verse 1.
