My love for writing
#Schrijven . Giving space to one of the most beautiful things we have: our #fantasie .
It started for me at a very young age with the advent of a real typewriter. My very first mini-books were about heroes from my early childhood: Besny and Pim.
In the sixth grade (group eight) I read a language lesson about children who founded their own school newspaper. That's what it did to him. Our school didn't have a school paper either, so I went to our class teacher after school, who was also head of school. The man nodded benevolently, of course I was allowed to. But of course my school newspaper could not be stenciled and it, standing on a chair, had to be read aloud. I collected an 'editorial' (I was, of course, the editor-in-chief myself) and went to work with The Schooltrumpet.

Soon the enthusiasm of the others turned out to be a bit more superficial so I wrote the ten copies myself, including the follow-up story, which I had played between Indians and cowboys (totally in line with my reading interest at the time).
